Patients and Vistors
Patients & Visitors
A courtesy phone is located in the East entrance lobby. If you need assistance, please pick up the handset. You will be linked directly to a patient access coordinator, who will help direct you to your destination.
St. Luke's Hospital & Health Network wants to make the discharge process from our hospitals as smooth as possible. Your doctor, nurse and other members of your health care team will work with you and your family to plan your discharge.
St. Luke's works to have most of our patients who are going home or to another setting discharged before 10 am each day. You can help by arranging to have someone available to take you home close to the time of your discharge.
Delays may occur, but our staff will keep you informed of any delays.
The Education Center is located in the East Entrance, 1st floor. After passing the elevators in the East entrance, turn left. The Education Center is directly in front of you. The hospital offers a variety of public classes for childbirth, bariatric (weight loss) surgery and other health topics.
Elevators are located at both the East and South entrances. In the South entrance, pass through the automatic doors and veer right. The elevators will take you to the first floor Information/Registration area. The East entrance elevators are located down the hallway to the left past the concierge desk.

St. Luke’s supports and accommodates flexible patient visitation. We encourage visitation between the hours of 11 am - 8 pm. Visiting hours may be altered based on the physician’s orders or our patient’s need for rest, recovery, treatments or need for family support. Staff will discuss any unit-specific visitation guidelines with our patients and their families. Please check with your loved one or nurse for the best time to visit. We appreciate your cooperation to help make patient care and safety our first priority.
If visiting after 8 pm, visitors will need to enter St. Luke’s Hospital – Allentown Campus through the Emergency Department walk-in entrance.
